Diese Nähanleitung beinhaltet mehr als 700 Fotos, an denen ich dir zeige, wie du die Tasche "Vallta" von Hansedelli nähen kannst. Dieses Schnittmuster ist für fortgeschrittene Näher geeignet. Die Tasche besteht aus einer Basis in 2 Größen und verschiedenen Modulen, aus denen du wählen kannst.

Es handelt sich hierbei um eine digitale Nähanleitung und Schnittmuster im PDF-Format, du benötigst also ein Programm, welches PDFs öffnen kann (ich empfehle den Acrobat Reader, denn mit anderen Programmen kann es zu Fehldarstellungen kommen). Außerdem benötigst du einen Drucker, um das Schnittmuster auszudrucken.

Vallta – Kulturbeutel zum Aufhängen

"Allta Vallta" wird sich der ein oder andere von euch vielleicht denken, nachdem er den Umfang dieses Projektes erahnt.
Auch wenn es an sich nicht sehr schwer zu nähen ist, so ist es aufgrund der Module doch ein sehr zeitintensives Projekt. "Vallta" wurde zudem als Schrägband-Projekt konzipiert, in dem du verschiedene Techniken sowie optional das Herstellen eigenes Schrägbands lernst. Nach diesem Projekt bist du vielleicht zum Schrägband-Profi geworden.

Maße und Design

"Vallta" misst ca. B 29,5cm x H 15-28cm x T 9,5cm im zugeklappten Zustand (bzw. aufgeklappt H 57-84cm) und ist ein modularer Kulturbeutel zum Aufhängen. Die Tasche besteht aus der Basis in zwei Größen und verschiedenen Modulen, aus denen du wählen kannst, sodass du sowohl für Wochenendtrips als auch für Fernreisen gewappnet bist.

Verschluss

Der Griff aus Gurtband ist gleichzeitig auch der Verschluss und die Aufhängung der Tasche. Zudem kannst du eine kleine Erweiterung nähen, um die Tasche auch über dickere Stangen hängen zu können.

Vallta-Basis in 2 Größen

Das Innere der Tasche

Der Taschenkörper kann in 2 Größen genäht werden. Je nachdem, ob du die große oder kleine Vallta nähen möchtest, ändern sich nur 2 Schnittteile. Nimm nur das mit, was du brauchst! Alle Module können dank Klettband vom Taschenkörper getrennt und ausgetauscht werden – so wie du es gerade brauchst.

Du kannst entweder zwei große ODER eine große und zwei kleine Boxy Bags an deiner großen Vallta anbringen (bzw. für die kleine Vallta eine große ODER zwei kleine Boxy Bags). Von den flachen Modulen kannst du entweder zwei RV-Module oder ein RV-Modul und zwei große Klappen-Module an deiner großen Vallta befestigen (bzw. für die kleine Vallta ein RV-Modul ODER 2 große Klappen-Module).

Das kleine Klappen-Modul und das lange Klappen-Modul können in den Netzfächern der Boxy Bags oder am Boden/Deckel verstaut werden.

Alle Module im Detail

Boxy Bags

Die Boxy Bags sind die "tiefen Module" und können in 2 Größen genäht werden. Außen auf der Vorderseite kann ein Netzfach mit Reißverschluss (2 Varianten) oder mit Magnetniete/ Druckknopf angebracht werden.
Im Inneren der Tasche kannst du ein weiteres Netzfach sowie eine Gummiband-Halterung integrieren. Die große Boxy Bag misst ca. 26cm x 13cm x 7,5cm und die kleine Boxy Bag ist ca. 13cm x 13cm x 7,5cm.

Klappen-Module

Das Klappen-Modul kann in 3 Größen genäht werden. Das kleine Klappen-Modul misst ca. 8cm x 11xm und kann wunderbar als Nagel- oder Tabletten-Etui verwendet werden. Das lange Klappen-Modul misst ca. 8cm x 22cm und ist passend für Make-Up Pinsel/-Stifte, Kamm, Zahnbürste und Co. Zwei große Klappen-Module (jeweils ca. 13cm x 13cm) bieten Platz für flache, aber breitere Objekte.

Reißverschluss-Modul

Das flache Reißverschluss-Modul ist rundherum geschlossen und bietet etwas Tiefe. Es kann z.B. Zahnbürste, Zahnpasta und Zungenreiniger beherbergen oder andere lange, etwas dickere Gegenstände. Es misst ca. 26cm x 13cm.

Alle Module werden rundherum mit Schrägband eingefasst.

Vorher & Nachher

Uff, die ist aber ganz schön groß...

... denkst du beim Lesen der Maße? Das habe ich zuerst auch gedacht, aber beim "Packtest" zeigt sich, dass die große Vallta nur unwesentlich mehr Platz im Koffer einnimmt, als die drei verschiedenen Kultur-/Kosmetikbeutel, die ich sonst beim Verreisen dabei habe.

Übrigens: die kleine Vallta passt noch genau in die Lücke über die große Vallta hinein, falls du direkt für mehrere Personen den Koffer packst.

Vallta – hanging toiletries bag

‘Allta Vallta’ (holy moly) is what some of you might think once you get a sense of the scale of this project. Although it isn’t particularly difficult to sew, because of the modules it is a very time-consuming project. “Vallta” was also designed as a bias tape project, in which you’ll learn various techniques as well as how to make your own bias tape (if you wish). By the end of this project, you might just have become a bias tape expert.

Dimensions and design

"Vallta" is a modular hanging toiletry bag and measures (when folded) approx. W 29.5cm x H 15-28cm x D 9.5cm (11 5/8" x 6"-11" x 3 3/4"), and unfolded H 57-84cm (22 1/2"-33"). You can sew the bag body in two sizes, so you're all set for both weekend getaways and long-haul trips.

Closure

The webbing handle serves as the closure and as a hanger for the bag. You can also sew a handle extension so that the bag can be hung over thicker poles.

Inside the bag

The bag body can be sewn in two sizes. Depending on whether you want to sew the large or small Vallta, only two pattern pieces change. Just take what you need! Thanks to the hook-and-loop tape, all modules can be detached from the bag body and exchanged – just as you need them.

You can attach either two large OR one large and two small Boxy Bags to your large Vallta (or, for the small Vallta, one large OR two small Boxy Bags). From the flat modules, you can attach either two zip modules OR one zip module and two large flap modules to your large Vallta (or, for the small Vallta, one zip module OR two large flap modules).

The small flap module and the long flap module can be stowed in the mesh pockets of the Boxy Bags or on the base/lid.

All modules in detail

Boxy Bags

The Boxy Bags are the ‘deep modules’ and can be sewn in two sizes. On the outside of the front, you can add a mesh pocket with a zip or with a magnetic stud/ snap fastener. Inside the bag, you can add another mesh pocket as well as an elasticated holder.

Flap modules

The flap module can be sewn in 3 sizes. The small flap module is perfect for a manicure set or to store pills. The long flap module can hold make-up brushes or pencils, a comb or toothbrush or other long flat objects. The large flap module holds slightly wider objects.

Zip module

The zip module is enclosed all the way around and gives a good amount of depth. It can hold items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste and a tongue scraper, or other long, slightly thicker objects

Phew, that’s a right big one...

... is that what you’re thinking when you read the dimensions? That’s what I thought at first, too, but the ‘packing test’ shows that the large Vallta takes up only slightly more space in the suitcase than the three different toiletries/cosmetics bags I usually take with me when travelling.

By the way: the small Vallta fits perfectly into the gap above the large Vallta, in case you’re packing a suitcase for several people at once.
